yay!!!..finally got a new blogskin for my blog!!...chose this blogskin cos i like the words..haha..that's something i learnt ever since i went into jc..even if there are unhappy stuff in yr life...shld just treat it as a lesson learnt and stop brooding over it..or else u will always be stuck at same old point...regretting yr past and not working hard for yr future..haha!!..sound so philosophical right??!!..haha..but regretting my past stuff was what i had been doing for 16 years..and i always tend to remember the bad stuff that happened to me...like how embarassing it was for me in primary school to say "attention" instead of saying "at ease"..haha!!..weird me..

anyway..got back my cello exam results...got merit...even though not up to my expectations..but kind of expected that grade..just felt a bit qi gek..cos this no matter what is my last exam for cello..sigh..but too bad didn't get the distinction that i wanted..mainly my songs pull my marks down..maybe i had practised too much on scales and neglected the songs..and miraculously..my aural passed!!!!!!...hahahaha!!!!!...as usual..my examiner said that my singing was "problematic"..but my test D was good!!!!..haha!!!..all thanks to mep..i just used whatever i learnt about jazz in test D to crap...haha..thank goodness i remembered one jazz composer (which is gershwin) in time..haha!...and so sad..no more treat from dorea...cos she promised to treat me if i got distinction..haha!

oh ya..yest was teachers' day celebration..hc there quite fun..at first we were quite sian with the acer thingy..cos we had to dance mass dance..bleah..i mean..just give it a miss la..some more rainy day lots of ppl tend to not want to move...haha..but the concert in the audi was quite good..at least better than dhs..first was band..which had some intonation problems..and khai boon had this saxophone solo and he sounded pro..then next was guitar ensemble..which was quite boring..haha..all of us agreed that guitar is not meant for an ensemble..it sounds so much better as a solo instrument..and the student conductor not very good..kang was saying that the student conductor conducted wrongly..haha..next was this guy who played some solo piano piece..then his technique quite good...even though he broke down halfway..but then the song not easy too..and we were all wondering why he keeps hunching over the keyboard..like..dun look very professional..after that he played the piano accompaniment for yongliang (who is the hc idol)..and it was quite funny..actually..he kind of screwed it up..maybe it's cos he was sight reading...but there was this part where he had some solo...and he fumbled over it..then yongliang came next to him at the piano..and then after a "yan sheng jiao liu"(quoted from meijin)..yongliang started singing again..super funny la!!!..haha..but so mean to the pianist..then after that ge fang had a medley of songs..and chee yang of course sang the best out of all of them la..and the accompanists for ge fang super funny..cos after each song..they will change accompanist..and there's this guy who play without looking at the keyboard..instead he will look somewhere else and like have a weird look on his face..haha..but he's quite pro to not look at the keyboard.then he came in once with a score of only A5 size..then wayne meijin and i were wondering what is written on tt piece of paper..haha!!...

after that is the highlight of the concert..which is the item put up by the teachers!!!..haha!!..that item was hilarious...and most of us couldn't stop laughing!!...ms tay tucked in her shirt lots and tied two ponytails with ribbons..then she look like small kid!!..and mr khairul was looking quite nerdy with his shirt tucked in and his black framed specs..and mr ng is like the odd one out cos he was the only male teacher wearing bermudas..haha..oh ya..ms huang really looks like a student when she wore the hc uniform..haha!!...i think the funniest teacher was the one who acted as guai kia...haha!!!...his hair was like neatly combed back..then his uniform was "neatly pressed"..haha...looks very nerdy..then the "host" of the item was like tui xiao-ing him to mothers..haha!!..oh ya..and the two teachers who acted as the hosts of the item are very good singers..esp the male teacher...he can go and sing musicals liao la!...or sign up a contract with SRT..totally sounds pro in his all i ask of u..the female teacher quite good...just that her voice not strong enough and not high enough..haha..but both of them are pro...compared to a singing idiot like me..heard that they are choir teachers..oh ya..after that..they got give awards to best dressed teachers..and mrs lee got it!!..haha!!..my class cheered super loudly for her...

after that went back to dunman..sigh...really brought back lots of memories..and somemore get to see the old dhs geppers again..haha!!...and scott is so pro!!!...he actually baked cookies and it was quite nice la!!!...it is very hard to imagine scott baking..we were kidding that he must have bought the cookies from somewhere and wrapped it up nicely..haha!!..and stair was super funny too!!..cos we were talking about pull ups...then stair came up with this formula...(total number of pull ups that stair and elbert and kang can do)^(number of pull ups chian yeh can do) = number of pull ups yiming can do..hahaha!!!!...poor chian yeh..got niao-ed so badly by us..

went to talk to some teachers..and the funniest was the one with mrs shu..hahaha!!!..cos we said kar mun go and specially tie her hair up neatly for mrs shu..then we asked mrs shu how's the hair now..and mrs shu said quite neat..but can be neater..haha!!..and poor kar mun was sulking..haha!!!..and after that nearly 20 of us squeezed into ms chia's counselling room..haha..but like very weird there cos nothing to talk about...and we meppers tried to find mrs loke and ms lin..but too bad they aren't in their music rooms..haha..

went for co prac..cos we next week got audition for the dhs 50th anniversary gala dinner..then kang and i ended up stoning in the lt for 2 hours..cos we didn't have any cello to play with..since we didn't want to carry our cellos from our homes to hc and back to dhs..and the dhsco cellos not one have 4 strings..bleah..so sat with dorea...who was playing the bass..then we were looking at kang's phone!!..haha!!!...and we got new gossip too!!!..haha..but shan't say here....after that wanted to either join some of the dhsgep ppl or go with co ppl for some food..sigh..but needed to prac for piano lesson..so in the end never go with either...bleah...and piano lesson quite a flop..cos i didn't prac..my teacher nearly flared up at me la..cos i couldn't play the ornaments for chopin nocturne clearly..sigh..at this rate i can forget about taking piano dip..

oh ya..during co prac then..i was like thinking whether shld i continue cello or not..cos very xin tong to just give it up like tt..then was thinking maybe can take cello dip for trinity..haha..since no need viva voce and programme notes this kind of stuff..but on second thoughts..i think i m out of my mind..no way can i handle so many stuff with my heavy schoolwork now..plus dun think my mum allows..

anyway..shld be mugging for promos..but i just wasted one whole day on choosing this blogskin and formatting it and blogging this entry...and busy watching scv and eating...and slping..haha!!...in short..i m a slacker..and this shouldn't be the case when i have so many tutorials not done..and i haven't even done the interviews for pw!..rah!!!...shall start mugging now!

oh ya..on a side note..christina aguilera's slow songs rawks! =)
