ok...this will be a super long entry...dating back all the way to o levels chinese last year...haha....anyway...first with my o levels chinese...wah sadness...i dunno what the hell am i crapping for it...it is like...so dramatic??...somehow..kind of worried tt this A1 won't be in my shou shang..haha...cos i scared my paper 1 will kill me..plus my irritating oral was such a failure...siighz...anyway...over liao..what to do...just have to work harder for this year's and wait for my results in march...

after chinese o levels marked a super busy nov/dec hols...two days after o levels was east zone schools chinese orchestra training camp (ezsco)...more specifically...it was conducting camp from 3rd to 5th of nov...and quite interesting...cos like i learn more about how ttk conducts...like understand better??...so u understand better...than u can play better...haha...what nonsense am i talking about..then saw some very potential conductors..haha...one of them is quite pretty...and vincent esp think so...haha...so we whole day tease him about it...then got meet some irritating people lah..just that i am not going to say who izzit here...but just going to call tt person mao mao...haha....

then it was the five day training camp for ezsco...it was quite fun..mainly cos i whole day busy here busy them..help people set up things...cos we are the host mah...then must make sure that our guests are like comfortable??..anyway...first day was quite luan...then it was like we were behind schedule when we first started the training camp officially...everyone went to the auditorium to have a briefing from ttk..then we took a whole group picture..wondering where izzit now anyway..then we rush up to the fenzu place...which for dyb was avt...poor bassists have to carry their basses all the way right at the top...but this time round quite a lot of bassists and cellists...about 6 bassists and 18 cellists i think...then it was like we only fen for half an hour..then tea time..then tls wasn't too happy lah...cannot blame her...then after tt i think everyone came back late for fenzu...but nvm...anyway...was quite sad at first...cos ok lah...i noe tls has to wei4 da1 ju2 zhao2 xiang3..but it is like i really want to go for dazu...instead of going for the shan dan dan piece with the xyz...though the song is really very nice..haiz...but still sad mah....haha..but i m happy again on the third day!...cos in the end tls decided to let me shang dazu then vincent was pulled to play shan dan dan..but it is like..both of us play both lah...ok..tt's a little confusing..anyway...so everything is happy once again!...lol...then sunday we got performance..quite ok lah..just that we paiwei ppl are super busy..zooming here and there..and poor dorea..haiz...and not bad actually...quite a lot of people turned up for the concert...and i made quite a lot of new friends in ezsco too...haha...wondering how are they now.. and hostel food rawks!

after ezco..got a period of rest..then off i go to NZ!...haha...went off on sat night..then that day missed co...got permission from vincent liao...but then when i was at airport...really missed co liao..sniff sniff...sadness...bet i will get homesick there...anyway...didn't have a good sleep on the airplane...took air NZ btw...i think only my dad got a good sleep..cos he is used to sleeping on the plane..then my brother and my father very funny...cos they take the centre row...then got two rows nobody..so each one took one row and lie across..haha...but too bad my brother too tall...so very uncomfortable for him..then on the airline i watched movies like spiderman 2 and the story about cole porter..tt movie...and it was such a sad movie..sniff sniff...mainly my sleep was on and off..so by the time reach the airport sleepy-eyed....then we took a domestic flight from auckland to christchurch...it was cool looking out from the airplane window..to see all the farmland and mountains....one good thing about the domestic flights is that they give you chocolates for snacks!!..haha...anyway...once we touch down...we went to the international antarctic centre...it is fun...we even went into this room...where we wear all those winter equipment they used in antarctica...all the boots and coats etc...then we experience about like -50 degrees celsius or what...and it was like super cold??!!....cos they got all the wind blowing pass your ear..then you will feel that your lips are super dry...but frankly speaking..i was mainly cold cos of my legs...anyway..i was hiding behind my dad..so still ok..haha!...after the tour inside hte centre..we went for this thing called hagglund all-terrain vehicle ride...it was this vehicle that they use in antarctica...anyway..we thought it was a normal sight-seeing ride...in the end...it went up and down slopes...then everyone was pushed sideways...except me!..haha..cos i took the centre seat..then in the end tt was the best seat...cos i feel nothing...then got once we go into this big puddle of water...and tt water was so disgusting...then we went up the gondola...all the way to a mountain...then when we went to the sight-seeing centre to take pictures...it was super cold!!..and i can even feel the clouds going pass me!...so when we took the photos..everyone's smiles were damn funny...

frankly speaking..after this..i can't remember the sequence of our tour...so i shall try to piece up stuff here and there...i think the second day we went to the mount cook region..and it was super breathtaking..ok lah...must thank my brother for his photography skills...anyway...it was nice to see the two peaks, mount cook and mount tasman, together with no clouds covering them..and with lake tekapo in the foreground...and the lake was so clear!!...u can see every single thing inside..and even tioman's waters can't compare to it..then there was this nice church called church of the good shepherd...really lor..i feel like staying there and not come back to singapore!!..haha...then on the road..we can see lots of yellow wild flowers...it is like they come in huge amounts...and can fill the whole slope...and we went to the willowbank wildlife reserve....a bit boring..u just see lots of animals...but i saw the kiwi...the new zealanders really treat kiwi as their national treasure...in order for us to see the kiwi..we were not allowed to do this and that...aiyah anyway it is a lot of restrictions lah...and off we go to queenstown!...

queenstown was super cold...it was like when we were there..the temperature never ever go beyond 10 degrees celsius..but u noe what?...we were so lucky that the hotel didn't have anymore vacancies for us in the hotel..so we get to sleep in villas!!!!!...haha!!!..it was so shiok...then it was like...my family got four people...so we wanted two hotel rooms..in the end we had two villas...wah...dunno which room to sleep...haha...and the villa got a super nice view at the back...with the lake...and there was this tennis court...wah..i really really want to live there...wanted to ask my dad to buy that...then the next morning we went to the goldfield mining centre...we actually get to have a jet boat ride...and it was fun...it is like this speedboat going towards the two slopes of the steep valley...and then the driver make a quick turn..that kind of thing..and the speedboat even turn 360 degrees...haha...and the driver is quite shuai..heehee...lucky i got the picture of the jet boat..then can admire him..haha..but now dunno where izzit...then after that i spent some time trying to avoid a dog that seems to love to play a lot...haha..then we went to look for gold...it is really interesting to know that in the past people already can invent a machine that only needs hydroelectric power to mine gold....i think it is super pro..and our chinese ancestors even went there to mine gold before and even built small little houses and some even smart enough to go and sell daily needed stuff...and i tried to find gold...but too bad...no luck...and then we went ot see bungy jumping..wah...it was super scary lor...dare not to go and try...then i saw some really very nice lotr merchandise..wanted to buy some back...but it was too ex..sorry for those lotr fans..haha...then we went shopping..wah there are really some nice stuff..but too bad it is quite ex...but really...nz standard of living is much higher than singapore's...

day 5 starts with us walking out of our villas seeing snow on top of the mountains...and whenever i talk..i can see the water vapour coming out of my mouth...haha..then we went on a trip on the steamship TSS Earnslaw...and it really is a steamship..we can go in and see how the people put in coal etc...it is just like a mini titanic...then you see all the gadgets used in titanic inside that steamship...then we went to this walter peak farm...and had lunch..it wasn't too nice...all like beef, mutton etc...not my taste..then my parents super irritating..cos there was a grand piano..then it is like they want me to play on it...i was like dun want to play...cos it is so embarassing??...then my brother go and play at it first...then i say he gives me thousand NZ dollars then i play..then he say ok...so no choice...to shut my parents' mouths up..i had to play lah...ooh..that reminds me..my brother still owe me one thousand NZ dollars...after that went to see sheep!...haha...there was this poor little dog at the corner there wet and shivering..really arh..if any sentimental people in our class go there...you will really feel like crying...then when the farmer let the other two dogs out to chase the sheep back for a demo...you can see the dog barking pitifully...like he wanted to join but cannot...haiz..anyway the way the sheep comes back is cute...you see their wool bouncing up and down...haha...next was the farmer shaving the wool from the sheep...it was super funny...cos when the four limbs of the sheep is facing upwards..it won't move...but just sit down there like an idiot..however when it can stand on the floor it will kick and struggle...so i was quite worried that the farmer will let go and the sheep will come running towards me...then we saw how they use wool to meet the threads...and i think that requires lots of patience...after that went back to the ship..this time round there was this old man who was a pianist..and we spent the whole trip back singing lots of songs...and my father was like saying this is called what a real performer that kind of thing when that guy was playing and singing..i was like..what the hell?...you ap or what??...and just showed him a black face...anyway it is great fun..and i think koreans have really very strong voices...cos there were koreans singing too..and their voices were good enough for opera singing...really not joking...after that back in queenstown and shopping once again!..haha..

from queenstown we are going to the fox glacier...and on the way we went to this gibbston valley winery..and it was really stinky inside the wine chamber or whatever you called it..where you make wine..and my dad and brother was like drinking and drinking..what the hell..really arh...cannot stand people who drink..even if it is wine..even though they say wine in limited amount is good for health...esp blood circulation..i still think that wine is just high-class beer...then after that went to mrs jones fruit orchard...wah i really cannot stand it...the fruits there are super fresh...totally cannot stop eating lor...haha...esp the grapes...should have bought some back..but it was too ex...so sadness....then we finally reach the fox glacier town...it is a really small town...with only one convenience store..then we were living in this like backpacker's room...it is like..there is a few steps you climb up..then your door is a sliding door..with a curtain...then inside is your bedroom with a tv...1.5 metres inside the room you enter the kitchen then inside the fridge are milk etc...mainly that is your breakfast..then beside the kitchen is the toilet..fox glacier town was colder than queenstown...cos it was near the glaciers and mount cook...then the tap was super funny...one cold one hot..then we were like thinking how you get warm water??...so in the end i was like waving the cup left and right of the two taps...and the floor of the shower was made of metal...then the shower you must switch on from cold to hot...cannot straight away hot cos the tap of the shower is supposed to be turned...

the next day early in the morning..we went for the helicopter ride onto fox glacier...wah..it was cool to see the glacier..although i just saw white white white...haha...then the helicopter was like going to be blown off by the wind..and you see the wind sock right in front of the helicopter was like blown full...so in the end we cannot land on the glacier...but anyway..i also a bit dare not to land on the glacier..haha...then we went to see the real glacier from the ground..i think it was tasman glacier..then you can see the glacier at a part of the mountain range...and you can see people trekking up onto the glacier..so it is very dangerous...then my dad and i were like finding those small nice pebbles to bring back..although we not supposed to do..haha...then we went ot hokitika...where we saw the greenstone factory..saw some really nice necklaces...and was helping my brother to choose a necklace for his girlfriend..then help my parents choose a jade bangle for my grandmother..although that one i anyhow choose..haha...cos i dunno how to see which jade is good...haiz...anyway..platinum is my generation..and jade is my grandparents' generation and gold is my parents' generation..so obviously i dunno about jade..then saw people doing glass-blowing...wah i think that guy is pro...it is like..it is not easy to make glass kiwis...and there are so many things to be careful about..especially when he has to take out the melted glass at dunno what temperature and straightaway shape it into kiwi size using a cloth and a tool only...then the product was like super nice and realistic??...really must applaud him..then we went back to christchurch...and saw the mona vale..mainly it is a big mansion owned by a merchant's daughter in the past..then she gave to the church..and the church thought it was too expensive to maintain..so gave to the government..haha..when we entered...i decided not to have that kind of house...cos everyday you will have to walk 1 km to your house...but on the way we saw a few private houses..and it was super nice lor..cos it is like we were facing the back of the houses..then at the back of the houses each there is a garden..then at the end of the garden there is a small river...that kind of thing...then you can row a boat in the river...or even come out of your house to feed the ducks in the river...anyway...it was super fun..and the ducks were cute..the way they chase my brother for food was super funny...then we went to see the flowers in the garden of mona vale..and it was really beautiful..even people like me who dun like flowers also can appreciate me..haha...then my brother was busy taking pictures of the flowers cos my mum wants to maximize it for posters in our house..a way to save costs...haha...then we took a big group photo...after that went to the cathedral square to see a nice church..actually wanted to go shopping..but too cold..and most of the shops are closed...so we went to back to rest...

day 8..time to go to auckland!...haha...straightaway went there and went to see the waitomo glow worms cave...it was super cool to see all those limestone in the caves..some looks like a kiwi doing bungy jumping...an elephant's butt...and there was even a place where we can hold concerts...and it is the best place...cos the acoustic was super good...cos no echo at all...haha..then saw thousands of glow worms inside the caves...and it is like they are tiny litte stars flashing here and there...then we went to see the shearing shed...to see the german angora rabbit..those kinds of rabbits are those very fluffy kinds...but the way they shear the rabbits is quite cruel...it is like tie the fore limbs at one end and the back limbs at the end...then stretch the rabbit..then shear like tt...i was like..ouch for the rabbit?...sniff sniff...but it is for their own good...if not they will get heat stroke to death...then we went to rotoroa...and had a maori concert at night...then it was like very funny...cos the females had a chance to do poi dance..then the males do the haka...which is a war dance...then was super funny...and the food quite nice also actually..and in rotorua...you will smell a stinky smell...cos of the sulphur smell..and my mum was like so soft...keep complaining about the smell..cannot stand her for that...then the next day we went to the whakarewarewa thermal reserve..haha..you can try to pronounce whakarewarewa at one go..it is not that easy...then we saw mudpools and geysers...and cos in new zealand we were too cold...so we sat on the rocks near the geysers...and after five minutes..our butt already like roasted liao...haha...for the first time i feel warm in nz...after that we wend to rainbow spring nature park..which is nothing much..then we went to kiwi360...it is very funny..cos we get to see those kind of carriages like thing..and each carriage is shaped like a kiwi..then we went round the whole plantation..which was like super big..and i get to see my favourite kiwifruits!!!!!!...haha...then also add chocolate eclaire..that were about 10 to 15 cm long...and cost only one NZ dollar??..so much cheaper than singapore..then ate kiwi ice cream too!!...haha...after that sawthis super cute kiwifruit soft toy...haha...in the end..as usual...i bought it...then went to comvita honey centre...which is quite boring...cos you just see a fifteen minute video...that i fell asleep in..and find the queen bee within lots of worker bees...and test honey..wah...i cannot stand the manuka honey..which is supposed to be the best type of honey...to think of my brother keep eating without stopping..after that we went to mount eden..which is the highest mountain in auckland...then we can see the crater...actually can run in towards the crater...cos the crater is like sealed liao..then on in got grass everything..then you can see the foot paths made by previous people..but then i dare not to go down still..haha...then slept in the erm...skycity tower i think...and i spent 1 hour plus in the hotel room watching the nz national rugby team played..and they were like so pro..and they did the haka before the competition..and it is so irritating..cos i was busy watching...so in the end i missed the chance to go with my brother to the business centre to use the internet...grrrr....

last day in nz...we went to victoria park market to buy souvenirs...then i only left with dorea's present...but so sad...couldn't find a nice one...so in the end bought postcards for her..then back to singapore!!...

next is dec hols jixun...ok lah..nothing much..but guo lao shi came back to conduct us...and he is quite funny..but dunno why..maybe long time never see him..so i wasn't too used to his conducting...frankly speaking...i think it is because his conducting sometimes has no point...i think he is a good conductor in terms interacting with his players...whereas ttk is good in conducting skills...as in ttk is more meticulous and clearer in his conducting...

argh...shicheng was sad...cos of the 30th anniversary...we one week like have about....18 hours of practices?...then worse thing that time when we have dyb chalet...we actually purposely put the bbq on a day that we are free...but ttk said that if we were free we could miss the extra practice that was last minute added..but i dunno what was tt tls problem?...she insisted that we must go...and it was like on monday...me, lydia and dorea went for orientation practice then to parkway for lunch and shop at the pasar malam...we saw tls at the bus stop..then we were like hiding from her behind a phone shop..then was like hoping that she won't be taking the same bus as us...in the end she did...so we decided to cross the overhead bridge and take the same bus as her...haha...then we purposely dun look at her..but i bet she saw us...cos we were making lots of noise..wearing our red dyb t-shirts...and even like passing around lydia's new pink bimbo hp cover...haha...then after that we quickly got off the bus to my house....then spent the afternoon playing on the piano etc...after that wanted to go to school..then suddenly the bbq retailer called to say that he is bring food to costa sands resort liao..so we all took taxi to there to pay the money...then i called tls to tell her that we might be late...then she was shouting over the phone lor..irritating...feel like punching her then..then i quickly passed the phone to dorea who was next to me...and she couldn't stand it too...and the worst thing was that when we reached there we were early??..and she was there smiling..what the hell???...so that's why the next morning three of us went to dyb chalet to chat and play..then went back to school for orientation practice..then pon shicheng..haha!!...then we played games, bowl, eat...until time to go back...then the concert was ok lah...got some nice parts...some bad parts...and thx faye and ryan..for your hippo that is quite squashed by now..haha..

then dyb outing!!...haha...me, lydia, dorea, vincent, zhiying, amelia, yunxuan, janice, joey, xz and hongbin all went to tampines mall to watch phantom of the opera...then all of us were punctual..except for vincent..so we decided to zheng3 him...so when he called my hp to ask where are we..i said i m not going to tell you and hung up on him...then he called lydia..and lydia dun respond..then after that he called my phone again...then i just hung up on him...then after that dunno he called who...i think xz's hp..then xz ask where he is...then he say lah..then xz say i see you already!!...but tt time we were in the food court..haha!!...then he called again...asking where are we...then xz said you look downwards then you will see a guy wearing purple shirt that using hp right...yar...i m the one...tt kind of thing...haha...then vincent really believed..in the end i went to collect ticket..then dunno how he found us..haha...anyway..poto really very nice!!!...wah..the part where christine left the phantom was like so heartbreaking lor..i already got tears in my eyes...then i heard dorea beside me sniffing..then i look at her..then she saw me..then she tried to stop crying..in the end she snorted!!...haha!!..and it was so loud lor...in the end all of us were like laughing..then i cannot cry liao..then the ending was so touching...for the next two days i kept thinking how the phantom actually managed to survive...really...i think christine shouldn't choose raoul...the phantom is so talented...though he is that evil...but i believe he loved christine more than raoul lor..but then again..if i were christine..i cannot stand the phantom's looks anyway...after the movie we went to take neoprint..then saw sad ym..then when i saw him...i couldn't stop laughing...dorea also..cos he didn't cut his hair..so it was like..aiyoh..dunno how to describe..anyway not like the normal ym...

next coming up...ORIENTATION!!!!!...haha...quite funny...actually on monday...we pon the second half of school to make souvenir bags while the rest went to practise for orientation cca exhibition and concert...then it was like on tuesday...we were like putting sweets into the souvenir bags and performing at the same time lah..but i heard that co was most generous in gifts..haha...anyway..there was this very cute boy...who like will sit in front of whichever section he is playing...then when it was the chui da (percussive and wind ensemble)...then it is like the starting was very loud...then he was taken aback..then when kelvin was soloing..he go and make a funny face at the boy..haha..super funny!!...sad dorea even laughed until she cried...then vincent was so sad...he kept taking off his specs cos he thinks that he is shuai without his specs..then when sophia came...then he like purposely act seh...haha!!!....super funny...then the concert...dorea almost went mad for someone...haha...but i think we were quite good...then sc has a nice song..but band was a bit weird for their first song...and it was their syf piece...but i thought after tt it is quite nice liao...frankly speaking i think mrs wong quite biased..but shan't say so much about her...anyway...really happy now...cos we managed to get 77 people to put co as first choice...though we only can accept 57...hope my juniors won't be very ap...

then the tsunami concert...argh...i was so angry with my mum for that...i told her that i could miss co practices to go for one single practice on sunday for shicheng...then the performance was on wednesday..then she dun let me...in the end i realised she thought it was a lot of practices..so i could have gone in the end..but the concert not bad...and the tian wen wasn't that nice..then i also got irritated with someone..but nvm...

ooh...and before i forget...i m in the chou wei (planning committee or whatever you call it) for the malaysia trip...one good thing is that i will know most of the things..anyway...got lots of other committee members to accompany me...haha...though i m the only person for my job whereas other ppl can split the job..not that my job requires lots of things...

lastly..yesterday got a co performance in yishun safra...it was for some shooting competition or something like that lah...and it is like we were quite pissed off with the safra ppl...firstly..they dun give us a proper stage to perform...plus we cannot block this passage way...block that passage way...then they complain that our chui da too loud then will make the guests choke on their food...wah..what's their problem..in the end we played inside our holding area...then it is like...our hong lou meng was quite sad...cos i think some parts si zhao didn't give very obvious signals...so everyone was like a bit luan..then di tanjung katong quite ok...cos everyone mainly based on our feeling...then after that..we decided to add in chui da...to blast the guests and let them choke the food..haha...after that we even played another percussive piece...actually the guests outside wanted more...but we had to go back liao..so sad..but i heard that the response quite good...ooh!!..before i forget...there was these chi go beis or however you spell it...mainly it meant dirty old men...they were like so hao se when they were looking at the guzheng ppl when they were playing..can't blame them...cos guzheng ppl some very pretty...haha...then after that some even came into the holding area to see the orchestra play...then after tt dorea got ka chiao by a chi go bei..haha!!!...he was like...ni men shi zhui da de!...then shake her hand..haha!!...then after that everything finished the person in charge came in and said that we were good lah etc...and wants to engage us next time...haha..but me, vincent and kelvin were like saying no way..then kelvin said sth very funny..but i forgot what izzit liao...anyway it meant like forget about it..you invite us with lots of money we also dun want...haha..anyway..like what Mdm Ilyana said..we did this performance only cos of a favour to someone...we always refuse performances...haha...oh no..i sound so arrogant...haha

really leh...if after syf...i have no more co...i think i will feel very lost...cos it is like...i cannot do without co liao....sniff sniff...
