oh well....i kept my promise..hereby i will blog abt china co trip, cap camp and co interview...btw...before i continue...bio prac is interesting today...cos we dissected a heart which smells like a pig cos it is a pig's heart..ok..nvm

CO TRIP (3/6 - 13/6)
Day 1: luan luan LUAN!!!!!!!!!!!!...after mep camp..i went to the airport at night and we co ppl form one long row while queueing to check in..took abt one hour to do so..my father was super irritating...haiz...i mean...stop trying to treat me as a small kid...anyway...i m so shocked tt we are actually supposed to put our cellos in the airplane compartments...u noe those spaces above the seats where u put your luggage...and we were supposed to Zzzzzzzzzzz in the airplane cos the next day got performance...but i think some ppl were too excited...but i slept still...then smell supper..but by the time i woke up too late to ask for supper...and i must say tt tby teacher got a big appetite...haha...

Day 2: stupid ppl at the Beijing Airport check-in counter...we realised tt our flight has been delayed and we were just planning to check in earlier cos like we have over 100 ppl and it takes a long time for all our luggage to check in..but then tt stupid woman refused to let us check in by using the stupidest excuse in world history saying tt there is no space to put luggage??..for gdness sake...COME UP WITH A BETTER EXCUSE NEXT TIME...inefficiency of the beijing airport...sadness...so we ended up with no breakfast and had to sit at the departure hall eating two sandwiches plus a drink...sadness...then went off to xi-an...i love xi-an weather..when we reached there..it was only 16 to 17 degree celsius...haha...and slight drizzle...but the weather so shiok lor...and then had our performance...so shocking..they put up a big banner tt welcomes us...wah...i feel so honoured..anyway hongloumeng dunno why sound better than our practice...and the china audience super noisy...singaporean audience have much more xiu yang..anyway..back to our performance..ren ding was quite good...i mean kelvin was so pro...though i didn't really noe wad i was playing then...the real bad part came when djy went bonkers...for chang an...pang kiat couldn't play the drum solo which has the same rhythm as erhu..and cellos and basses were confused because of him and we didn't play our part...and u noe wad is the worst thing..THE COMPOSER OF CHANG AN WAS THERE...aiyoh..so diu lian...and yue fei sux too...thx to zihui or wadever her name is...cos she is supposedly to be frm tby yangqin..but cos djy got lack of ppl so she joined djy...and she can't play the vibraphone at all...her two eyes were looking at ttk..but her rhythm everything wrong..sadness!!!....spoilt the whole yue fei...after performance..was super tired...

Day 3: we went to see this pagoda tt tang sanzang once stayed...then go and see xi an shi zhong lou..then SHOPPING TIME!!!...haha...kind of regret not buying the xun..the most ancient chinese instrument tt looks like a short dumpy pear..anyway..thought i couldn't blow so no use of buying it..but after tt realised tt i could..haiz..was regretting so much...then saw this mao zedong version of cards..and wanted to buy for faye..but it is super ex..so decided not to buy..but kind of regretting again now...after tt we watched a performance done by xi an qing shao nian gong...and again in front they put a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG banner to welcome us to watch...their show?????..but sadness anyway...cos a lot of the performance is done by the teachers instead of the students...and kelvin and jie ren felt so inferior cos there was this super talented girl who play the suona so well...i was very impressed...

Day 4: went to see terracotta army...super nice!!!!!!!!!...problem is 1. there aren't as many terracotta figures as i thought there would be 2. did too much walking...anyway...got quite boring after a while..then when we wanted to return to our bus..we have to walk through this market where lots of ppl were selling souvenirs..and they were quite desperate...cos it is like when they saw us...they rush to us and keep showing us sets of terracotta figures selling at 1 RMB...sadness...then went off to hua qing chi..the place where yang gui fei and the tang xuan zong went for their wen quan..basically..it is where the emperor and his fat concubine frolicks..and dunno when chiang kai-sheks and the nationalists used there as headquarters before i think..then there was this naked statue of yang gui fei..and mollie and dorea went up to take a photo while attempting to hold her boobs...but they can't cos the statue is a little further into the lake...jason is super sick..he said tt they should pinch instead of peng..-_______-"..then went off to three gorges...

Day 5: saw guan lin...where guan yu's head was buried..tt one quite ok..then saw long men shi ku..basically it is lots of caves with lots of statues of buddha etc...but sadness it suddenly rained and we had to all squeeze under a cave...but got limited space cos there is a fence tt fence us off from the buddha statues..so everyone were feeling so cold and wet...haha..i think some of my fats were squashed flat because of tt..then after we went back to our bus..then i think the xyz and djy were still roaming around in there..so the other two grps have to wait for them..and my bus..which consists of dyb and gy were entertaining ourselves by catching flies..basically..we have two ways to do so...1. wait for the mosquito to rest on the window or on the bus ceiling then use empty water bottle and catch it..2. this method is invented by wilson i think which is to fill the water bottle with stuff like coke and hold it out in the air while waiting for the fly to go inside itself...this is called the shou zhu dai tu method..anyway...both dyb and gy were competing with each other..but i think dyb lost by a bit...then went to luoyang

Day 6: today is the SHAOLIN DAY!!!...anyway..went to this kungfu school to watch a shaolin kungfu performance..they are so pro!!!!!!!!!!..jian zhi jiu shi dao qiang bu ru..anyway...we are infatuated with this small little boy who is super flexible and do very difficult moves...and dorea was going crazy over some guy who she say very shuai...then went to see shaolin temple...not tt nice..cos u can see construction here and there..and lots of ppl..not my ideal shaolin temple..then we see lots of pagoda..which is quite boring...then went on to zheng zhou..dinner was great fun...cos it was jian min and mr lee's birthday.then my grp sang mu yang qu and mo li hua (dedicated to our grp leader who is nicknamed mollie)...at night went shopping again..but practically nth much to buy..cos most shops closed

Day 7: was planning to go to the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG bookstore to buy books actually..but they cancelled last minute for us to pei yang qing xu..grrrrrrrrrrrr..got tls super angry today..cos 1. we were supposed to have fenzu but we ended up watching tv...then when tls came in she flared up cos partly because she is worried abt tiantian who is her daughter and our senior..2. it was planned for us to bring our cello to the bus for them to be transported to the sias international university at first and we stay back in hotel and tls wasn't too happy..so in the end we went to sias first while some groups stay back in hotel..3. some ppl forgot to bring their scores...the sias international university is sad..they have names like beethoven hall...jordan hall...curie cafeteria etc...then the place where teachers have their meals i think is called teacher staff of dining room or sth like tt...sadness!!!..then dinner sux..and the teachers are so mean to wilson..cos his birthday was tmr..but in the end they wanted him to celebrate today with two other ppl..i dun see the need to save the money for another cake right..hmph...performance is ok...hlm as nice as ever..jie ri was a total disaster cos we didn't practise with the piano with new speed and he rushed and wilson forgot to bring anchor...so couldn't really play...haiz..yue fei almost died...ren ding not tt gd cos jieren not very wen..

Day 8: went to kai feng and saw this metal pagoda and went to see the bao gong ci..and saw long ting...nth much..just a boring day

Day 9: went to explore qing ming shang he tu gong yuan..quite nice i must say..then have another performance...which is like an exchange programme with the he nan arts school...only the erhu, djy and gy and tby performed for section items..then we played a few dazu songs...the audience super irritating and noisy..even ttk can't stand it..haha...and i think he showed quite a black face and paused for a long time b4 the next song..hoping tt the audience will keep quiet..but he failed..haha...then after tt it is the he nan arts school turn to perform...as usual..mostly teachers...but there was this small boy who can sing super well..and the audience is so inconsiderate..i realised tt near my seat there were longan shells -___________-"

Day 10: went to see the yellow river...nth much..then went off to airport to go to beijing..everyone in my grp was she bu de xiao nan, who was our tour guide..and she even cried when we left..haiz.......really miss her now..she is such a nice tour guide....then confusion again in beijing airport..so in the end we can't go shopping..but dinner was great..beijing roast duck rawks!!!!!!!!!!....and after tt they last minute brought us to a pearl shop...boring..then return to singapore..but on the flight back to singapore...realised tt the compartment was too small for cellos to put in...so had to move some people out of their seats for cellos...feeling so sorry...

Day 11: HOME SWEET HOME..realised the gdness of changi airport toilet...went home and ate guava...ppl who have constipation..pls eat guava, cereal and water chestnut..cos they have high fibre and can cure constipation easily...then took a long nap before slacking by playing sims..

some interesting things abt china trip
1. we every night have water parade..which is where we have to reflect on our own actions during the day and drink water at the same time
2. almost every meal during the first few days we will play zhong ji mi ma...where the gamemaster is supposed to think of a number within the range 1 - 99 and the other ppl must try to guess w/o guessing tt number...e.g...if the gamemaster's number is 8, and the person guess 50..the gamemaster must say 1 - 50...so whoever guessed the number have to finish one dish..but in the end...my section practically everyone got either diarhorrea or constipation..so we didn't play anymore for the last few days3. ok..this isn't tt interesting..but lots of ppl got sick...some nose bleed some fever (abt 3 in my grp i think)kang and xingzhong sent to hospital and xingzhong was almost cheated to do surgery..then tian tian wasn't feeling too well..got cough etc etc etc
4. we got 12 courses meal everytime..and we even have a shui xi...sth tt wu ze tian loves to eat and i dun understand why cos it sux so much..and the ba bao fan sux too...

CAP camp (21/6 - 26/6)
Day 1: went to Eunos MRT to pick mOo up and headed off to NUS..my dad is mad today..when we reached NUS it is clearly that we had went past Eusoff Hall..and according to the map..it is true that Eusoff Hall is near the bus terminal..but he insisted tt it wasn't..argh...sickening...then when we reached Eusoff hall..went to register and relaised that i was sleeping in an individual room..yay!!!!!!!...the room super duper chao ji wu di nice!!!..with a table the length of the bed plus six big square shelves on top and super big cupboard..NUS hostels seem better than NTU..and the doubles room's tables are like office tables!!!...orientation is ok..played rather boring games like making contact and polar bear tt is super luan...then had no appetite for lunch shortly after...then it is time for opening ceremony..was super tired cos previous night was chiong-ing my history research thus only slept at 5.30..so i slept through the opening ceremony and the 2 boring plenary lectures..talked to vincent and dorea after dinner and bath abt voting the new CO committee...performance workshop is next and is quite fun..btw..realised tt there are only 6 ppl in chinese workshop and 50% come from DHS...

Day 2: had a plenary lecture at CFA and i feel so guilty cos i was sitting at the front row and sleeping right in front of her...and i think she observed tt i was sleeping =P...chinese writing workshop was boring...slept in some..but i like Cai Xin...and there was this ACS(I)boy who is so cute...haha...as in like xiao di di tt kind..and he kept talking in ENglish and was "scolded" by Cai xin...then the hands-on workshop i felt so cheated...when i see the title "Rhythm in Translation" and the instructor's surname was Schubert..i thought it was sth to do with music...but in the end it was ART!!!!!!!!!!...argh...the bane of my life...suckiness...after tt is plenary lecture..not bad..and it is the only lecture tt i didn't sleep..mainly cos i was doing other things..and performance workshop is fun!!!...did lots of interesting stuff like scale, trying to carry each other on the back..act like a herd of animals etc...and mOo is starting to have a crush!!..haha...

Day 3: i feel very bad towards Cai Xin for keeping falling asleep...after chinese writing workshop..we decided to play zhong ji mi ma..and our forfeit was to put tt sweet and sour and hot sauce into our drink..and since i lost thrice..i had to put in three spoons..and it sux..and felt i going to have diarhorrea..and the worst thing was tt drink went up into and out of my nose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...performance workshop (which is mime) was quite boring...since i kind of fell asleep..at night went to nigh safari..only like the tram ride...then went for walking trail which was so boring

Day 4:chinese writing workshop is so boring cos of the lin gao...and i purposely dun write fast cos i dun want him to read my stuff....and he sux more than Cai Xin......then got a performance cum talk on chinese opera...the ppt slides sux..no aesthetics sense..and the english subtitles for performance is hilarious...haha..then there was this scene in the performance where pan jinlian was trying to seduce wu song and she hug his chest first then waist then hips..then my friend Ching was joking tt why didn't she go further down...heehee..and i love the music of the chinese opera!!!!!!!!!...cos got cello!!!!!!!!...haha...then after lunch had to rush and bathe to prepare for drum clinic..which is quite boring cos not much hands-on experience and it is only suitable for ppl who are drummers already..then after tt was waiting at the sitting room with mOo for 1.5h b4 get-together dinner...then chat with dorea...before changing..then mOo and i were debating how my hair sould be done...and there was this super chio girl who was from CAP alumni who agreed with mOo...lots of chio bus at the dinner..and the food is heavenly...and mOo's crush looked like a co person then..cos white shirt plus dark pants..entertainment is nice...with one of our friends singing..and had a duet with the drum clinic instructor..then got a boring performance of guitar playing+singing..but apparently the performers didn't realise they are tone-deaf...then we played a table game and ppl had to say why they are the world's biggest ego and why they have the world's sexiest voice..then next is the FRUIT AND VEGETABLES CULT...they are super cute!!!!!!!!!...though their songs are nonsensical..then performance workshop is fun =)

Day 5: mOo was so scaring today..cos she came into my room to borrow my shampoo and i forgot to lock my room the night b4..so w/o my specs..i thought she was a ghost...group presentation for night safari was a failure...one of my grp members stick out his third finger and the teachers made a super big fuss out of it...performance workshop again is fun...then we had rehearsal...for ppl who want to excel in ji gou ba...please drink Iced MOcha with Gelato..it guarantee u success in ji gou ba..but please note..the effect will wear off after a while..at night got rehearsal again..didn't get to see film...dance look pro...puppetry so cute!!!!!!!!!!!...then jc drama super funny..and kabuki...the lord ikyu is a PERVERT...and then some ppl have to crawl under other ppl's legs..

Day 6: last day of cap camp...and mOo attempted to get the number and address from her crush..but i wouldn't go into details..haha..unless mOo allows me to do tt...then have rehersal and performance..made 2 mistakes..but nvm...after tt tea was super nice and we were busy taking pictures and eating..then rushed to get my luggage and off to co i go..at first i really dread going to cap..but after when all has ended..i realise tt i enjoy cap a lot...EXCEPT FOR THE CHINESE WRITING WORKSHOP..sorry to say tt mOo..

CO INTERVIEW

actually nth much..just had interview..dun think i will get into committee though..anyway..dun even want to be committee...but i really do hope tt dorea gets to be the tuan zhang..and most likely vincent will be zu zhang...GO DYB!!!!!!!!!...haha...i m mad...
